Holdspace Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2025

Overview

Holdspace ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

Our Privacy Principle

Holdspace is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. We are a local-first application, meaning all your information stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any external servers.

Information We Store Locally

Saved Items: The items you save (titles, notes, URLs, moods) are stored locally on your device using SwiftData.

App Preferences: Your settings (theme preference, Face ID setting) are stored locally using standard iOS storage.

What We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect personal information
  • We do not track your usage or behavior
  • We do not use analytics services
  • We do not share data with third parties
  • We do not sync your data to any cloud service

Data Export

Holdspace provides a data export feature that allows you to export all your saved items as a JSON file. This export stays on your device until you choose to share it.

Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data. You can delete individual items within the app, or delete all data by uninstalling the application. Since we store nothing externally, uninstalling removes all traces of your data.

Third-Party Services

Holdspace does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use crash reporting services that collect personal data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
